Kamega Terms of Service
Valid from 27 October 2026. Draft before legal review; plain language is deliberate. There is a Czech and an English version; if they differ, the Czech one applies.
What Kamega does
Kamega builds a one-page website from the details you give us, runs it on its own infrastructure and changes it on your instructions. The preview is free. Running the website is a paid service.
Texts, and the pictures marked “illustrative”, are produced with the help of artificial intelligence. You see everything before launch and can change it by chat. You are responsible for making sure that what the website says about your business is true.
Adults can use the service, acting for their business or as private persons, in any country where law and sanctions do not forbid it.
Price, currency and tax
The currency depends on the language of the page you order on: Czech pages bill in Czech crowns (CZK 190 a month or CZK 1,900 a year), Slovak and German pages in euro (€7.90 a month or €79 a year), English pages in US dollars ($8.90 a month or $89 a year). The price on the payment page is final: it includes VAT or sales tax where tax applies.
You pay in advance by card through Stripe; Kamega never sees your card number. Your bank may charge its own currency conversion fee. Businesses with a VAT number can enter it on the payment page and it appears on the invoice.
The subscription renews automatically every month or year until you cancel. If we ever change the price, we tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before it applies.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time in your website dashboard. The website then runs until the end of the period you paid for and is then paused. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except in these cases: the consumer right of withdrawal (next section), when we could not launch your website or it was down for more than 24 hours in a row through our fault (see Availability), and where the law requires it.
Consumers: right of withdrawal
This section applies if you are a consumer (you buy outside your trade or business) and live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom; elsewhere too, if your local law gives you a similar right.
You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of ordering, without giving a reason. Tell us clearly, for example by email to hello@kamega.ai, or use the model form below.
Because you ask us to launch your website immediately after payment (you confirm this by ticking the box when you order), the service starts within the withdrawal period. If you withdraw, you pay only a proportionate part of the price for the time the website has been running, and we refund the rest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the card you paid with.
Model withdrawal form (fill it in and send it only if you want to withdraw): To Calitha s.r.o., Školská 660/3, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Česká republika, hello@kamega.ai. I give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Kamega service for the website [website address], ordered on [date]. Name and address of the consumer: [fill in]. Date: [fill in].
These terms do not limit any statutory consumer right you have under the law of the country where you live.
Your data and content
The texts, photos and details you give us, or that we read from your website and from public registers, stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to build and run your website. You can ask us at any time to export or delete them. You are responsible for having the right to use the content (photos in particular) and for the details about your business being true.
Personal data of your website's visitors and customers
If personal data of your website's visitors or customers arises on your website (visit statistics, for example), you are the controller and Kamega is your processor. We process it only to run the website and on your instructions, bind everyone with access to confidentiality, protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, help you answer requests from the people concerned, and delete it when the service ends (see Ending the contract).
We use the other processors (hosting, email, payments, artificial intelligence) listed in the Privacy notice; we tell you in advance of changes and you may object. Transfers outside the EEA rely on standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. On request we show you how we meet these duties. This section is the data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
What does not belong on a website
We do not build websites that imitate other businesses, lure people into giving up data or money, offer illegal goods or services, or infringe the rights of others. We may refuse or switch off such a website and end the subscription; we refund the unused part.
Availability and backups
We try to keep your website up all the time; short outages for maintenance or faults cannot be ruled out. We back up daily. If your website is down for more than 24 hours in a row through our fault, we refund a proportionate part of the monthly price.
Domain
Your website runs at an address like yourbusiness.kamega.ai. You buy and own a custom domain yourself; we connect it to your website. When the service ends you keep your domain, not the Kamega address.
Ending the contract and deletion
After your website is paused we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back. Then we delete it, unless you ask for earlier deletion. Either side may end the contract; we give one month's notice, or end it at once if these terms are broken.
Liability
Kamega is responsible for running the website, not for the content on it or for the results of your business. Our liability for damages is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it: for example intent or gross negligence, injury to life or health, and, towards consumers, wherever it would limit rights they cannot give up.
Changes to these terms
We may change the terms for good reasons (a new feature, a change in law). We email you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does. If you keep using the service, you accept the change.
Governing law and disputes
Czech law governs the contract. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection that the law of the country where you live gives you and cannot be waived, and you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country. Disputes with businesses go to the competent court in Prague.
Please write to hello@kamega.ai first; we answer within 14 days. Consumer disputes can also be settled out of court: in the Czech Republic by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz), elsewhere in the EU by the consumer dispute resolution body of your country.
Where we do not offer the service
We do not provide the service where law or international sanctions forbid it.
