- What does it cost in total, and what isn't included?
- $8.90 a month, or $89 a year, nothing else. The price covers the website, hosting, security, daily backups and changes by chat. The only thing outside the price is your own domain, which you would buy from a registrar (at their price). The price is final; tax, where it applies, is already in it.
- What if I don’t like it?
- The preview is free, so you pay nothing until you like your website. Once it is live you can cancel anytime in your site dashboard and it runs until the end of the period you paid for. If your website is down for more than 24 hours in a row through our fault, we refund a proportionate part of the monthly price.
- Do I need my own domain?
- No. Your website runs at yourbusiness.kamega.ai. If you have a domain, you connect it in your site dashboard; it takes one DNS record and we show you which one.
- What if I want to change something?
- Type it in a sentence in your site dashboard and the change is done in moments. Whatever the chat can't handle, a person takes care of; we'll get back to you by email.
- Where do the text and photos come from?
- We write the text from what you tell us about yourself, and we never make up numbers, reviews or promises. You upload photos from your phone, or we pull them from your old website. Have none? We add illustrative pictures that fit your trade. They are made by AI and the site says so; once you have photos of your own, they take their place.
- Is the website accessible and fast?
- Yes. Every website passes an accessibility check (WCAG AA), loads nothing from third-party servers and works without JavaScript.
- What if I stop paying?
- Your website runs until the end of the paid period and then pauses. Everything stays saved; when you renew, it comes back exactly as it was.
- Who owns the content?
- You do. The text, photos and details are yours; Kamega uses them only to build and run your website.
- Can I leave with my website?
- Yes. In your site dashboard you download a ZIP with the finished website: plain HTML, CSS, photos and fonts that run on any hosting. A short guide is inside. Your own domain stays with your registrar, so leaving does not affect it.
